Yesterday I got the news by telephone that my brother (Allen) had been flown to Wichita, KS for an emergency heart bypass operation. We went the next morning and found him all patched up and looking surprisingly good despite the million wires and hoses. He was awake, but was out of it. He was being cared for very well. The poor guy had six blockages and now he’s doing pretty well, because the blood is going where it’s supposed to be going. I’m sure he will be up and going very soon.

The Chili Dogs and Jokes party

Everything was very good. Fifteen people came and we had a great evening out in the yard. No bugs, no hot air (except maybe for Scarlett). We ate all the hot dogs and laughed and that’s all it was supposed to be about.

Those attending were:

Steve Dukek

Rose Dudek (with grand children April & Amaya)

Jim Elliott
