I was a crew chief on a slick with Co A in 1968-69 and our company area was just west of yours, between the control tower and Div HQ. I'm presently doing research on Dong Tam and the delta during that period -- trying to piece together the big picture. Your stuff has helped jog my memory a lot. I'd appreciate getting a look at any other information or material you have, or just any good links you know of. I've also looked over your recent blog entries and I like your art work a lot. We probably have similar sensibilities. Have you ever considered doing illustrations of some of your experiences or things you saw in Vietnam? You know; the cockroach-eye-view. By the way, did you know that Dong Tam is now a snake farm and is a big destination for Eco-tourists? It almost seems as though the four-year presence of the 9th infantry Division there (1966-70) was just a brief and weird hallucination -- for them and for us.
